Happy Creator Thought Thursday!
Welcome to the first of many issues of this newsletter. It’ll mainly feature a deep thought I had for the week in regards to my content creation journey, some cool things I learned from other creators, a favorite quote from a creator, and my created content for the week.
My Thought for the Week 💭
Let’s just get to the point for this first week: I struggled to get this newsletter up and going. The thing I’ve been thinking about starting for weeks…I didn’t start because I was terrified.
Why? I’m not 100% sure, but I think as people we just fear trying out new things because of the unknowns and uncertainties involved.
The many questions that pop into our heads before we even start the thing itself can make our imaginations run wild.
For me the questions I had were:
What if nobody reads it?
What if my writing is terrible?
What if this doesn’t lead to anything productive for the long run?
What if (insert irrational worry here)
When it comes to starting anything new we should keep our expectations to a low minimum and just have fun with it. That’s the point of starting any new project or hobby right? To have fun and enjoy it, not put so much pressure on ourselves and just ruin the hobby altogether.
If you’re fearful of starting something you’ve been thinking about for a while, take the time to ask yourself why?
Wishing you a great weekend,
Miko

Creator Quote of the Week 🗣️
“One for them, one for me”
This quote comes from one of my YouTube accountability buddies Aman. Essentially what this means is to make one piece of content for your audience, and one for yourself. It’s important to create for your audience, but most importantly for yourself.
